Shire of Ravensthorpe – Bluevista Bush Fire Brigade Building
PCG served as the principal contractor for the Bluevista Bush Fire Brigade (BFB) building in the Shire of Ravensthorpe. This facility is designed to store two large fire trucks and includes essential amenities such as toilets at the rear of the building. The design, adapted from the Jacup BFB build for the Shire of Jerramungup, features a fully equipped kitchen and meeting room, providing a community meeting space. Large water storage tanks were installed to ensure a reliable water supply for filling fire trucks when needed. The project was completed on time and within budget, with a $12,000 cost saving achieved through effective communication and flexibility. Challenges such as the Western Power application and location of power were managed efficiently, demonstrating our competency and proven track record. We continue to support the Shire by assisting with grant applications for future builds.
Shire of Jerramungup – Jacup, Needilup, and Boxwood Hill Bush Fire Brigade Buildings
PCG was the principal contractor for the Jacup, Needilup, and Boxwood Hill Bush Fire Brigade buildings in the Shire of Jerramungup. Each building is designed to store two large fire trucks and includes amenities such as toilets at the rear. Large water storage tanks were installed to aid in filling trucks when needed. The projects were completed on time and within budget, incorporating variations requested by the Shire of Jerramungup.
Shire of Plantagenet – Bush Fire Brigade Buildings
PCG has been the principal contractor for multiple Bush Fire Brigade buildings in the Shire of Plantagenet, including the Denbarker, Middle Ward, Foresthill, South Porongurup, and Narpyn brigades. In addition to new buildings, we have performed various maintenance works on existing fire brigade buildings such as Woogenellup and Rocky Gully brigades. Working closely with the DFES representative, we tailored the original designs to suit the varying sites and requirements of the local brigades. Our ongoing support includes assisting with grant applications for future builds, helping local brigades achieve updated facilities.
