For nearly 30 years, Plantagenet Construction Group, previously known as Plantagenet Sheds & Steel, has proudly served Mount Barker and its surrounding regions as a family-owned and operated business. Founded in 1995 by George and Sue Corke, the company began with a small premises, two tradesmen, and an apprentice, driven by a vision of exceptional customer service and job creation.

Our journey of growth saw the expansion of our workshop in 1999, and by 2001, we relocated to our current 1100 sqm facility—the largest and most modern construction in the town centre at the time, built by our dedicated team.

Today, under the leadership of George and Sue’s son-in-law, Shaun, and his experienced management team, we continue to uphold our founders’ vision. Our skilled workforce is committed to local employment and delivering top-notch residential, commercial, and industrial construction services. We also offer a range of farming products and a proficient drafting service.
